The National Vaccine Institute (NVI) has successfully concluded its maiden Board Retreat for the year 2025, a strategic two-day session dedicated to fortifying the Institute's governance structures and enhancing overall institutional effectiveness.
The retreat provided a focused environment for the Board and Management to align on the Institute's direction for the year.
A central component of the meeting was the rigorous review of the first batch of key draft NVI policies. This exercise is a critical step in establishing the robust operational frameworks necessary to support Ghana's vaccine manufacturing ecosystem.
To ensure alignment with national standards, the retreat featured a specialized orientation session facilitated by the Public Services Commission (PSC). The Commission provided expert guidance on effective corporate governance and public sector best practices, equipping the Board with the tools to lead with accountability and precision.
